The Forbidden Book
5 star teen dystopia
5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyed very much
I really enjoyed this dystopian novel, though some bits hit a little to close given the current state of affairs in the world. The cliffhanger at the end has me itching for closure-hope the author finishes the story with subsequent books!
Underneath: A revenge psychological suspense
A 4 out of 5 star novel with over 300 reviews!
5.0 out of 5 stars A Cyclone of Suspense!
I figured it out! Wait, no I didn’t. Now I’ve figured it out! Never mind. I have no clue.
Those words sum up how my mind tried to figure the story out, especially towards the end. I felt like Dorothy must have felt in “The Wizard of Oz”, when she looked out the window and saw everything spinning in a tornado. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, here came a giant plot twist that had my brain reeling and desperately trying to figure it all out again.
I’m a big fan of Andie’s comedic books, and I am just as big a fan of her suspense novels!
Tricky Treats: A Crystal Cove Holiday
Four out of 5 star Halloween romance!
5.0 out of 5 stars Halloween Romance, so sweet! Review by Christine Justlovemybooks Blog
5 Stars to Tricky Treats: Crystal Cove Holidays #4 by Dee Ellis.
One of the tropes I love reading is holidays. In this latest installment from Crystal Cove, a charming and romantic town, we have Tricky Treats. This sexy, sweet short story takes place during the Halloween season. I was thrilled to have this book because we don't often see a ton of Halloween romances. Tricky Treats has everything I love. The fact that it has everything I love while it's so short shows great writing talent.
Aria and Gabe.......
Aria was introduced to us in the first book, Snow Angel. Gabe however is a new addition to the charms of Crystal Cove. I really love this little town. The author did a nice job of giving me a clear picture of Crystal Cove.

My favorite of Stan C. Smith's books (and I have read quite a few of his imaginative, always interesting, well-written and well-researched adventure series). This is classic SF adventure involving time travel into the past, and the creation of alternate timelines thereby, and the question of whether the time traveler can ever go home again. If you "get" the premise of the TV show Sliders, this novel should resonate with you. Can't wait for the next book!
