I'm Never Drinking Again: Maybe It's Time To Think About Your Drinking?

I stumbled upon this completely by accident one day when looking for a new mystery to read. Pushed for time and in a rush, I bought the first book that looked good. Yes, I looked at the cover and didn’t really even read the title. This was one of the best flub ups I’ve had.
If you are looking for a fun read, something relaxing, or just a story then this book isn’t really for you. If you or someone you love has trouble with alcohol and you want a book that makes you feel included; that there is help and hope out there, then this is the book for you.
This book had the feeling of a friend sitting down and having a relaxing conversation over a cup of coffee. It brings up several points without feeling attacking. It also summarizes at the end of each section. This makes you look at yourself and really question your decisions.
The author is very good at providing links for people to find help. I, also being a medical professional, wanted a few more links and studies, but I also realize that to someone with no medical background that would become too overwhelming. I think, for the majority of people, she provided just enough extra information.

Overall, we at NeoLeaf Press give this book 5 stars. It addresses a sensitive topic well in a relaxing way. It seeks to make the person feel like there are options and gives suggestions instead of just barking the same old ‘you need to stop drinking’.
