     Shakyra Dunn paints beautiful and moving imagery through her novel, The Final Lesson. The novel is beautifully done from the story to the cover and interior formatting. Shakyra brings forth many unique characters, each with their own personalities and past that bring depth and feeling to the novel. The treads of each character’s adventure interweave like the fibers of a fine blanket. It feels natural and easy to follow.
     Prince Remiel, Rem, starts the story with a great loss and from this develops into a very interesting character, learning from his past and growing along with his friends, Solus, Amiria, Leilana, and many more.
     This magical fantasy adventure holds fast action that pulls you in, an in depth and well-done magic system, and ends with a great hook to the next story.
