Innocence and Deception starts with deep description, beautifully done, and pulls you instantly in. The book centers around Charlotte, who, after falling from a boat handcuffed, has lost part of her memory. The desperate run from the police while being kept in the dark about her past builds suspense at the beginning. After she is told she is a murderer you bounce back and forth between wondering if she is really the good guy or the bad guy. The plot thickens when we find out she was given false information and it becomes a race between who will get to her first, the good guys or the bad guys. The author warns the there are many British and Irish slang in the novel. That being said there are still some grammatical errors that need cleaned up. Overall the book was a great read. Very action packed We at NeoLeaf Press give this book our Silver Recommendation and rate it 4 out of 5 stars. To purchase this novel you can go HERE
