Sharkantula a B-level horror book that does not disappoint.

The story starts with the introduction of the lab and genetically modified spider, Lucille, who all need to be destroyed before the government can find it. As with a B-level horror movie the spider gets free, eventually biting a great white shark. The author weaves together a set of unique characters, who progress through this horrific event. Sharkantula gives the feel of being in a horror movie. While reading you’ll find yourself laughing, stunned, and sometimes disturbed.  With plenty of action, blood, guts, and gore, this novel follows the theme perfectly.
The book stars Sam and her father DR. After DR. destroys the lab he desperately tried to convince his daughter to leave with him. What he doesn’t know is he’s setting into motion this great Sharkulantula disaster. There are characters you’re glad they get eaten, and some who make heroic sacrifices that make you want to cry.
The ending is a total surprise, and, like with all good B-Level horror movies, leaves the window open for this catastrophe to happen again.

Sharkulta has a few typos that are easily overlooked. Overall Sharktula hooks you, drags you in, and you find yourself devoured by the writing, reading until the very end.

We at NeoLeaf Press give this book our Gold Recommendation and rate it 5 out of 5 stars.
